  • Who is Tiffany?

    Tiffany Joslin is the  Director of the Arts and Camping Service for the YMCA of Greater Nashua. She started her Camp Sargent career, in 2012, as the program director for Camp Sargent’s Play Acting Camp. Since then she has been an important part of the day to day operations of camp, and developing it into one of the top summer camps in the area, as one of our Assistant Camp Directors. When Tiffany is not at camp she likes to shop, soak up the sun at the beach, read, watch reality TV, and travel. There is nothing in the world she loves more than spending time with her family and friends.

  • How long is the camp day?

    Camp Sargent’s day of activities runs from 9 am to 4 pm with a multitude of options to keep your child both engaged and entertained. Pre- and Post-Camp are also available for an additional cost. Pre-Camp will run from 7 am to 9 am while Post-Camp will run from 4 pm to 6 pm.

  • How do I register online?

    Registration online will open on February 6 for members and February 13 for the community. Please click here to be taken to our online registration portal to complete your child’s registration. Until then you can begin to plan your Summer Camp experience with us by using the 2023 Summer Camp Brochure to see what we are offering when.

  • What is ACA?

    ACA (American Camp Association) Accreditation is a process during which a camp undergoes a thorough review of its operation-from staff qualifications and training to emergency management-to ensure compliance with more than 300 standards. Click here for more ACA information.

  • Can I rent out Camp Sargent?

    Yes! Camp Sargent provides a natural setting for group retreats, team building and youth outings in Southern New Hampshire. Our staff can develop custom programs to meet the specific needs of your group. Our facility programs are ideal for school field trips, scout troops, church retreats, staff team building, universities and more. Check out our Rental Opportunities Page for more information.

  • How long is the camp season?

    The 2023 camp season is eleven weeks long. First day of camp is June 19th and the last day of camp is September 1st. Camp operates Monday thru Friday.

  • What is Y CARES?

    Y Cares: If you are living on a fixed or limited income, you may be eligible for financial assistance for a Y membership and program fees through our Y CARES financial assistance program. Assistance is determined on level of income, family size and circumstances. Completion of a Y CARES Application (English | Spanish | Portuguese) and proof of financial need is required as outlined in the application. Information provided is kept confidential. Hard copies of the Y CARES applications are also available at the Y Welcome Centers.

  • Where can I find out about working at Camp Sargent

    We’re always looking to our growing team at Camp Sargent. If you are at least 18 years old, are available to work 8:30am-4:30pm M-F from June thru late August, desire to be a positive role model for kids, love working with children 5-16 years old, and enjoy the outdoors, please click here to see a list of our current openings.

  • Can I visit my child at camp?

    Absolutely! All that we ask is that you schedule a visit with our camp staff so that we know you are coming! When you arrive, you will be asked to show a picture identification and sign in on our guest/visitor log in the main lodge.

  • How often do the kids swim?

    “Free” swim is held mornings and afternoons for campers who choose to swim. Due to the high volume of campers and the limited amount of space for certain activities, we make sure that they swim at least once a day. It it is an exceptionally hot day, water will be introduced in other activities to make sure kids stay cool!
